Welcome to the City of Calgary's OFFSITE Warehouse Auction marketplace for surplus items and more. All items are sold unreserved to the highest auction bidder online.
Auctioneers note: All items bid on and purchased are sold on an “As Is Where Is” basis with no guarantees or warranties actual or implied. All items listed are subject to additions, deletions, errors and omissions.
Each auction opens for bidding the Wednesday prior to the second and last Wednesday of each month. The TIMED Auctions start closing every second Wednesday and last Wednesday of the month at 9:00 AM. There is not onsite viewing of the items prior to the auction. Each lot will be accompanied with a detailed description as well as photos of the items. Please factor this into your bidding.
Please select the “LOGIN” button on any auction lot and you will be redirected to our bidder online sign-up forms. The auction lots will close at a rate of 2 items per minute and at approximately 120 lots per hour once the closing begins.
Bidders will be required to leave a $50.00 Credit Card Authorization to be issued a bidder number to bid on the TIMED Auction items. If a bidder does not make a purchase, their credit card authorization will be reversed back to the card holder within 24 to 48 hours from the conclusion of the auction.
A Best Practice is to set your MAX BID per lot. Example: If you set a MAX BID of $50.00 and the bid closes at $47.00 The system manages your bidding for you and you win the bid for $47.00. You will receive an outbid notification via email if set it your preferences in your login account giving you the opportunity to place a higher bid.
At the conclusion of the TIMED Auction, the successful bidders will be emailed their auction invoice along with a wire/e-transfer form to the email address on their internet auction bidder registration form. Please check your spam and junk email folders.
All purchasers who want their purchases processed on their credit cards will be required to attend the auction to present their credit card in person for processing. The $250.00 bidder authorization will remain on their account until the items are paid in full. All purchases are required to be paid in full by the following Friday of the auction closing by 4:00 PM.
All TIMED Auction Item purchases are subject to a 15% Buyer Administration Fee plus the GST. Please factor your Timed Auction Buyer Administration Fee into all your Timed Auction Bidding.
Upon receiving your Paid in Full invoice from Michener Allen Auctioneering Ltd you may proceed to make arrangements to attend the warehouse to pickup your purchases. You must have your PAID invoice with you for item pickup.
