The position: Gate Controller
Territory: Edmonton, Alberta
Reporting to: Auction Yard Manager
Salary: Monday – Friday + weekends as necessary.

The Job
Gate Controllers are responsible for ensuring all visitors and deliveries to the site are authorised and for directing the movement of stock on and around the site. The auction stock can range from a diggers and dump trucks to cars and crushers.• This is an active, outdoor job and requires someone with the ability to identify all types of heavy equipment.

Essential Requirements
• Valid Driver’s Licence • Prior experience operating and knowledge of all types of heavy equipment and trucks. • Good communication skills and fluent in English. • This is a physically demanding, all-weathers role; all applicants must be in good health. • Ability to take instruction as well as working independently on own initiative and follow Health and Safety legislation.
