6. Bidding

If you are unable to bid live with the auctioneer (in person or online), use our pre-bidding system to place a priority pre-bid. Pre-bidding using your max bid amount is a way to ensure that you don't miss the item as live auctions do not have a specific start or end time.

Submit the maximum amount you are willing to bid up to and the system will bid for you to your maximum bid. The system will only bid for you if another bid is placed. Our system will notify you if you have been outbid on your maximum bid amount prior to the item going live.

Pre-Bidding is not required to participate in the live auction and does not ensure that you are the winning bidder. Bidding live with the auctioneer (in person or online) is the best way to ensure that you are the winning Bidder.

Pre-Bidding does not determine the auctioneers start/asking price. The auctioneer can open the bidding higher than the current pre-bid amount if a live bidder is willing to bid. The auctioneer start/asking price will not be determined until the auctioneer has started the live bidding.

Items in the live auction do not have a specific start/end time, these items are sold by a live auctioneer and the starting times posted are an approximate time that the item will go live for bidding.

7. Choice Groups

All stock is sold in lot number order. Items that are similar can be sold as a Choice Group. The winning bidder on a choice group can choose one or more of the items, each sold at the winning bid price. Any lots not taken in the choice group are offered to the runner-up bidder at the same price. If not taken the auctioneer will start the bidding process again on the remaining items.

8. Invoices

If you are the highest bidder, you will be issued an invoice. All invoices must be paid in advance before goods can be collected.
