The position: Receptionist

Territory: Calgary, Alberta

Reporting to: Office Manager

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm, including overtime and scheduled Saturdays.

The Job • Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual • Provide information to callers or visitors regarding company services, policies, and procedures • Receiving payments from customers • Perform general clerical duties, such as photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing • Assist with proofreading documents for accuracy and completeness • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and efficiently • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area

The Person: We are seeking a reliable and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our company, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and administrative support. The ideal candidate will have strong clerical and organizational skills, as well as a friendly and professional demeanor.

Essential Requirements • Must have reliable transport (no city transit available in the area) • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Previous experience in an office or administrative role preferred. • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Knowledge of medical office procedures is a plus • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Desirable Requirements

• Previous experience in the auction industry.
